Leading Edge or Dead End? – anchor.fm

After emerging 12 months ago anchor.fm is settling in.

It could be the spawn of a brainstorming session in which keywords are thrown together, “How about… Uber for…  dogs… Tinder for… … lawnmowers”.

Anchor.fm is Twitter for Audio.

Audio clips can be recorded and added to your stream, along with music, interviews and reposts of other people’s content.

Either a new platform that will Change The World, or a dead end that will disappear into history, or be folded into another platform?

It’s too early to tell, but the possibilities are there.
